The smoothly swept claws were borrowed from the “999″ rip hammer, and the striking face, hatchet eye and sturdy handle are a heritage of the Vaughan Rigbuilder’s Hatchet. The striking face is extra large to minimize the chance of missed strikes. The hatchet style handle, available straight or curved, is made from American hickory. I live in the mountains and it’s cold and snowy outside now during the winter. During the summer I do remodeling projects around my home and will use this light hammer to my delight.In
the past my arm muscles become cramped from swinging a heavy standard hammer to long. Now I will enjoy hammering to reduce this fatigue on my arms.

This hammer works great! It feels lighter than a Stiletto hammer and swings with more ease. The handle and head design are second to none as far as I am concerned.

Ok so i am a DIY’er, but i have a few friends that are professional carpenters. After using a few of thier Titanium Hammers, i decided i wanted one! The Stilletto’s were way to expensive for my use, but the dalluge was a good price for a well review product. Now that i have it i LOVE it. Light, feels good in your hand and very sure and solid. Worth the extra few bucks over a steel hammer. Hopefully i will never need to buy another hammer!
