Is a 7 lb air compressor a good size compressor to have to for small projects around the house? I would use it for trim, blowing up tires, small projects around the house.

No. It’s better to have to much compressor than not enough.Just in case you need a little more air.
I’VE BEEN IN CONSTRUCTION FOR 9 YRS,AND I WOULD SAY AT LEAST A 15 LB’R IF YOU PLAN ON INFLATING TIRES A 7LB TANK WON’T GIVE YOU MUCH PRESSURE OR AIR.A 15 LB’R IS PERFECT FOR AROUND THE HOUSE.HOPE THIS HELPS
Yes, it is fine for small projects.
o yes its good to have one wen you need it big r smell one its all the same
should buy a higher compressor, you can set at 7 lb now, in the future if you needed more pressor for some plan, you still have it.
I have a 6lb air compressor for my garage and use it for small projects. It works great so far. I suppose you can always buy a bigger one no matter which one you buy.
I bought mine from this site. The husky one.
